Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) is also called the father of the prophets and he also has the honor of being Khalil Allah. He was born 2300 years before the birth of Jesus (peace be upon him) and came after 1700 years in the tenth generation of Noah (peace be upon him). .
Allah Ta’ala put you through many trials and you succeeded and attained the place of solitude.
Your thoughts and ideas, will and perseverance and faith were tested.
The first trial is mentioned in Surah Al-An’am verse 76, 77, 78.
So when the night began to fall, Abraham looked at the stars and said, “This is my Lord.” When they began to sink, he said, “I do not love those who drown.” When he saw the moon shining, he said, “This is my Lord.” He said, “If Allah had not guided me, I would have been among the misguided people.”
And when they saw the sun shining, they said, “This is my Lord, and He is the greatest.” And when it also began to set, He said, “O my people, I declare my absolution from those whom you worship.”
This tested your monotheism and firm belief and success became your destiny.
Then came the court of King Nimrod and he was again tested by the maturity of faith and thought.
He presented the first argument of Tawheed that if I am the Lord, He kills and also gives life. If there is really God, then take him out from the west. He became unanswerable with this argument. This is mentioned in Surah Aal-e-Imran.
Now the second test began. Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) broke the idols and put an ax on the shoulder of a big idol and put all the blame on him. The people of the tribe said that it is not possible. May it break. He said, “Woe to you all, why do you worship such false gods.” It was a test that my dear Abraham would not back down from distinguishing between right and wrong. When he was thrown into the fire in Manjaniq, the age saw that he was not going to deviate from his intention, so Allah Almighty made the fire. Ordered, “Do not light the fire. My beloved is moving towards you to perform the rite of love. Be cool and safe.”
The third test was that you requested Allah to show me how you bring the dead back to life. Allah said, “Take four birds, familiarize them with you, and then slaughter them and cut them into pieces and place them on four different mountains.” But keep the ink pieces and call them and they will come alive and come running to you. You have also crossed this level of belief and Allah announced that I have made Abraham my friend.
